Counselling is a talking therapy that can help gently facilitate change. Together we can safely explore and move forwards. Taking the time to look inwards can help you heal and know yourself better.
Counselling takes hard work. However, it can be an incredibly powerful and helpful experience. It provides a non-judgemental arena to talk about what is going on in your life, and creates an often much needed place to explore and discover your feelings and thoughts.
Let There Be counselling derives its name from the more obvious phrase ‘Let there be light’, it also gives opportunity for you, as the client, to decide what comes next…’Let there be….stillness, peace, freedom, change, resolution, progress, space to think, or space to be me.
Let There Be counselling offers help with a variety of general counselling concerns.
I have experience in working with issues such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem, experience of abuse, bereavement, post-abortion and relationship difficulties amongst others.
Taking the time to work together, and following your lead, ensures you have autonomy over the work we do. Through listening and reflection, and as you explore, you can take steps towards change.
Steph Pilcher is a Qualified Level 5 Diploma Integrative Counsellor, a registered MBACP and registered A.C.C member.
There has always been on my heart a desire to help people, and this led me to study counselling. Through experiential training, as my knowledge and respect for therapy grew, I knew this had been the right decision.
I am now a fully qualified counsellor, with a passion for helping people. I offer counselling to individuals in a calm, safe and confidential setting.
As an integrative counsellor I have a client led approach at the heart of our sessions. I use techniques and interventions from a range of counselling approaches tailoring this to you. We can work together to best suit your individual needs.
£45 per 50 minute session
(NB: Sessions held in London Bridge are charged at £50 per 50 minute session.)
We start by spending 6 weeks together (6 sessions) and then review progress to consider your next steps.
I offer my counselling services from professional counselling rooms in Peckham & London Bridge, covering the City, New Cross, Deptford, Camberwell, Southwark, Brockley, Telegraph Hill, Nunhead, Honor Oak, Lewisham, Greenwich and East & South East London.
What to expect
As a starting point we would have an initial assessment where we will cover a confidentially agreement, and discuss what it is you are seeking help and support with.
Following this, we can schedule regular sessions. Every six sessions we can review and agree together whether more counselling would be beneficial. Sometimes counselling is only needed short-term for a couple of months, for others it can be longer, and last a year or more.
Beginning counselling can feel like a big step. If you have any questions whatsoever please don't hesitate to contact me.
